Welcome to our first Eezo's Blog post, where we'll be updating you with exotic, delicious, recipes! Our first recipe is going to be a little basic but unbelievably delicious:
Garlic Coconut Basmati rice! Sometimes we forget simplicity is all we need in the kitchen in order to make a flavorful meal, so without further ado:
Garlic Basmati Rice
2 Cups of Basmati Rice
2 Teaspoons of Salt
2 Tbsp of Coconut Oil or Olive Oil
2 Tbsp of Garlic Paste
4 Cups of Hot water
2 Cups Diced Onions
Mix your diced onion, Himalayan salt, coconut oil/olive oil, and Eezo's Garlic Paste in a large cooking pot over medium heat/fire.
Make sure to wash your basmati rice with a strainer, after washing, pour the rice in the pot and mix it in with the other ingredients after the onion has been slightly sautéed.
After mixing, pour the hot water over the rice and continue to stir, bring the stove temperature to high, allowing the water to boil quickly. Once boiling, reduce the temperature to medium-low and cover the pot. Let it sit for about 7 minutes, mix once more throughly, and within 3 minutes your rice will be ready!
